Yesterdays historical inaugural concert featured on HBO brought with it a unanimous message, that message being, We Are One. The $2.5 million production was jam packed with musical guests, actors and speakers from all corners of our nation. With musical performances from Garth Brooks, Bruce Springsteen, Beyonce, Stevie Wonder featuring Usher and Shakira, U2, Mary J. Blige, Herbie Handcock featuring Sheryl Crow and will.i.am, Pete Seeger and James Taylor featuring John Legend and Jennifer Nettles, there was really something for everyone to enjoy.
The wide variety of musical talent and style all performing together went hand in hand with the message of We Are One. Despite all the fun and history made yesterday, the party continues today with a performance from the Jonas Brothers and various other guests. All in all, this inauguration is living up to its hype and with the 20th right around the corner, myself among many others are truly waiting until We Are All One.

Various Performances From We Are One Inaugural Concert:
I love that a blacklisted communist folk singer performed at the steps of Lincoln’s memorial. Irony is hilarious. This made me happy enough to forget U2’s abomination on music which is every time Bono opens his mouth.
