How To Tell If Your Super Bowl Ticket is the Real Deal

When it comes to purchasing tickets for such high-demand events like the Super Bowl, it is imperative to know what the signature characteristics of the ticket are. Despite what many people believe, tickets do have certain attributes that distinct them from the rest and prevent scammers from forging makeshift tickets as easily. Be an educated buyer when it comes to such expensive events and don’t become a victim of a fraudulent ticket. I’m going to share with you the distinct features of this year’s Super Bowl ticket so that you can spot the fraud tickets like the pros and not fall under the ticket scammer’s reign.

This years Super Bowl ticket is known to be one of the toughest tickets to copy of the year, however don’t let that prevent you from studying your ticket because counterfeiters are getting more and more advanced every year and you can guarantee that they’ll be around for this event. The first safety net that I’ll highlight is the cut out of the text “SUPER BOWL XLIII”. This text is located under the seat location and rather than a print of the text, there is a cut out of it.

The next feature we’ll look at is also on the front of the ticket. Along the front-left half of the ticket there are six raised painted lines swooping across the length of the ticket in an arc formation. The raised paint is another feature that makes the ticket a little more distinct. We can now turn the ticket over and look at the back portion.

The back of the ticket is where all the ‘high-tech’ attributes are located. At the top of the back of the ticket, a double-holographic sticker reading “Super Bowl XLIII and Tampa Bay” is stuck on. We can then move towards the bottom back of the ticket in which a heat sensor is located. At the bottom of the ticket is a picture of Raymond James Stadium (Tampa Bay Bucs Stadium) and the field on the picture appears in green thermographic ink. However, if you hold your thumb on the field for about 10 seconds, the green on the field vanishes and slowly comes back. This is a very important feature of the ticket because not man people have the ability of obtaining this ink and turning it into a heat sensor on the back of the ticket.

The last characteristic featured on the Super Bowl ticket is a black-light (Ultraviolet) sensor. Above the picture of the field to the left is what appears to be a stain. This mark is a black-light sensor that illuminates a picture of the Vince Lombardi Trophy when put under the right black-light.

When combining all of these safety distinctions, you’re left with one hard to copy ticket. Again, it is very important to do your research before going full into a ticket deal because you’ll never know who’s trying to get one up one you. Scammers always come out for these high-demand events because the most money is on the line. So do yourself a favor and remember these features so that when purchasing a Super Bowl ticket, you don’t get scammed, but can rather relax reassured with your purchase.
