The New York Yankee organization has been ridiculed from all aspects this season, but nevertheless, are in first place. From the new stadium to the over-abundance of money spent on prospects this past off-season, this ballclub really had all eyes on them.
It was a rough start for the Yanks; New York City critics were all over them and especially the newly acquired ace, CC Sabathia. However, like Sabathia, the Yanks couldn’t be contained as they have won 14 or their last 18 games and set a major league record last night by going 18 consecutive games without an error. To put it simply, the Yankees are on fire.
With their win Monday night against the Indians, the captain, Mr. Jeter, set another record. Jeter became just the fourth player in history to record 2,600 hits, 200 home runs and 100 RBI’s within the first 15 years of their career (1995-2009). He is accompanied by Hank Aaron (1954-1968), Stan Musial (1941-1956) and Al Simmons (1924-1938).

There isn’t a more exciting team to see live than the Yankees right now and with their new state-of-the-art stadium; there isn’t a nicer location to see a game. So go support your New York Yankees and enjoy a perfect display of professional baseball.
The best team in baseball and that is coming from a devoted mets fan! The Organization, along with an unlimited bank account, has bought and put together the best teams in baseball on a steady basis! They really blew it with the way they handled Joe Torre and Bernie Williams though!!
