Ryan Howard has made history by becoming the fastest player in major league history to reach 200 home runs. Just one game past the halfway point of the 2009 season, Howard crushed his record breaking shot into the night sky. Ralph Kiner previously held this record though Howard beat the mark by hitting his 200th in just 658 games, nearly 50 shy of Kiner’s (706 games).
The Phillies have someone very special to watch game after game and I hope to see Howard continue his success - just not against the Mets - throughout the many years left in his career.
He definitely is the real deal.. One W.S Ring already!! A special player comes along every once and awhile who works to improve his game.. wish he was a MET!
