New York Jets fans looking to attend the Super Bowl in the event their team wins Sunday’s AFC Championship Game now have an opportunity to secure the right to buy game tickets at current market prices – before the expected surge should the Jets advance. National Event Company (www.NECO.com) today opened a unique “Right to Buy” options market that for a non-refundable deposit of 10% of current prices for all seats available through its service gives the fans the automatic right to purchase those tickets, only in the event that the Jets win in Indianapolis this Sunday.
Fans can visit http://neco.com/performers/super-bowl-tickets for more details on the program and National Event Company Super Bowl listings.
If the Jets win the AFC Championship and thereby qualify for the Super Bowl, fans purchasing the “Right to Buy” Option are guaranteed one ticket for each for the market ticket price at the time the Option was purchased, minus the Option price (e.g., if the current ticket price were $2,000, the Option could be purchased for $200, which would leave a $1,800 balance per ticket in the event the Jets won, activating the Right to Buy).
If Indianapolis defeats New York on Sunday, the Options would not be valid and no refunds would be issued for the Option deposit.
“The ‘Right to Buy’ Option is a cost-effective, low-risk choice for fans who only want to go to the Super Bowl if the Jets are playing,” said Drew Gainor, National Event Company owner. “Prices are likely to skyrocket if the Jets win this Sunday, so this is a way for fans to guarantee seats at today’s prices without having to commit to purchasing the tickets in case the Jets don’t advance.”
The “Right to Buy” Option program will end Saturday at 6 p.m. ET.
The game is Saturday and the Jets won’t win
The game is on SUNDAY, not Saturday
Thanks, good catch… fixed…
